My
Knight in Shining Armour

Ahh...,
the wedding day. The one day in every little princess's dreams.
Well in my case the fourth one of those days. Yep, by a process
of trial,
error and elimination, I have managed to find my knight in shining
armor (A
little rusty, but shines brightly after a good buffing)It all started
with
the maid of honor and the best man never showing! Then, I found
out, that
it is not a good idea, to swim in a highly chlorinated pool, with
bleached
hair. Moss green, is the result! Since the groom is late for everything,
we sent him to the chapel a head of time, not knowing that "my"
luggage was
in the trunk. Bobby socks, granny panties and tennis shoes, was
not the
idea I had, for wedding attire. Don't even ask about that horrible
music.
This probably would be funny to watch on video, someday, but we
forgot to
charge the batteries.
Oh,
and hey brides to be? Don't let hubby have fish and steak, chased
with beer for the dinner. I don't think that smell is ever coming
out of
that car, (rental ha ha) I really didn't mind washing our clothes
out at the
truck stop, but some how the pepto bismo and crackers on the nightstand
took
the place of the usual wedding night necessities: Champagne, candles
and
HUSBAND!
His
reassuring comment to me? "We'll do it all over again, someday,
honey, I promise!"
My
reply? "Are you out of your @$%%^%&^& mind!?"
Well
things are just great now. We've been married for almost 2 years
now, and we still like each other.
