Creating
a Sweet Moment

Every bride wants something special for her wedding day. I believe
the objective of any wedding is to create a moment that is captured
forever in your memory. With a little time and planning, you can
create a beautiful and sweet moment for your day.
Colors and themes are a great way to incorporate your personality.
Surround yourself with the colors that excite and comfort you.
To include the groom, you can take his favorite color and add
it to your favorite color. For more creativity, mix the two colors
together to create one color. Themes are another great way to
create a sweet moment. You can take your favorite historical period
and make it come to life on your wedding day. Places also make
a great wedding theme. If you had a special moment in a particular
city, recreate it for your day.
The processional is a great place to create a sweet moment. You
may want to open up your processional with a violinist walking
down the aisle playing your favorite piece of music. If you are
jumping the broom, you can ask a groomsmen to carry the broom.
Instead of using a traditional flower basket, have your little
one carry a pail for a beach wedding, a glass or clear basket
for a Cinderella affair.
Flipping through the pages of your own family history can give
you the inspiration you need for your wedding as well. Imagine
have the same cake your mother had at her wedding. Wear your hair
in the same style she wore at her ceremony. You can add a table
at the reception and place family photographs on it. For a favor,
you can have the baker make a family favorite dessert and hand
out a book of family recipes with it.
Themes, colors, family history, and unique ideas, allow you to
write a sweet moment for your wedding day.
